Pilot Emergency Parachute Systems
While many pilots think they would never have to actually USE an emergency parachute in flight, it's amazing how good "Plan B" can look when things start going badly. A mid air collision, in-flight structural failure, control lock or fire are some reasons to contemplate wearing, and be prepared to use, a parachute of the correct size and fit that is properly maintained. Some of the photos in the "Intro" show where pilots often wear parachutes.
